Daniel Kern Obituary

Daniel Keith Kern, 67, of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, lost his courageous battle with Parkinson's disease on January 22, 2026. He passed peacefully at home with his loving wife by his side.

Dan was born on June 25, 1958, in Wiesbaden, Germany, to the late Carl and Edith Kern. He grew up in Westford, Massachusetts, before eventually settling in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina-where he could golf year-round, something that brought him great joy.

Dan and his wife, Debbie, were high school sweethearts who shared 48 beautiful years together. They would have celebrated 41 years of marriage this coming May, a testament to their deep love and lifelong partnership.

Dan had one daughter, Danielle, who was the center of his world-until, of course, his two grandsons arrived. Becoming a grandfather was one of his greatest joys. Dan's quick wit, humor, and unmistakable personality live on through Danielle and in the many lives he touched.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Deborah Kern; his daughter, Danielle White, and her husband, Zac White, whom Dan loved and cherished as a son; his beloved grandsons, Christopher and Logan White; his brothers, John Kern, Jim Kern, and Dave Kern; his sister, Deborah Carter; and many nieces and nephews.

Dan will be remembered for his sharp sense of humor, kind heart, and unwavering love for his family. He is now at peace, free from pain, and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
