Chesley Blackmon Obituary

Mr. Chesley Glenn Blackmon, Jr., age 61 of Latta, passed away on Monday, October 20, 2025, at McLeod Regional Medical Center of the Pee Dee. Mr. Blackmon was a millwright in the construction and electrical business for many years. He is survived by his mother, Kathy Jones (Mike) of Mullins; his life partner, Diane Hicks of Latta; his siblings, Steve Blackmon (Susan) of Blenheim, Tammy Lane of Mullins, and Charlotte Freeman (Jimbo) of Blenheim; his children, Brian Blackmon, Stacy Blackmon(Justin), Tracy Blackmon, and Charlie Blackmon, all of Latta, and his grandchildren, whom he adored, Destiny Brown, Layla Brown, Koby Brown, Mariah Blackmon, Angelica Blackmon, Landen Northam, Bryson Blackmon, Jaylen Northam, Hunner Northam, Alayna Blackmon, Tracy Blackmon, Jr., Carlie Blackmon, Cailyn Blackmon, Aleya Puma and Alex Puma. Mr. Blackmon is also survived by special family members, Linda Perritt, Nikki Roberts, Jessica Freeman, as well as his fur babies, Shadow and Boots. Mr. Blackmon was predeceased by his father, Chesley Glenn Blackmon, Sr. of Brownsville, and granddaughter Madison Blackmon. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
