Cheryl Norris Obituary

Ms. Cheryl Norris, age 52, passed away on Monday, April 20, 2026 at MUSC.

Born November 7, 1973 in Garfield Heights, OH, she was the daughter of the late Mary Ann Gundic Lally and the late Rollin George Norris.

Cheryl will be remembered for her vibrant spirit and the way she made life feel a little more enjoyable for everyone around her. She was an active and social person who rarely sat still, always finding joy in connecting with others. She had a true love for great food and was a self-proclaimed restaurant connoisseur, always knowing the best places to eat and taking great pleasure in sharing those experiences with friends and family.

She was deeply dedicated to her career in the IT industry, taking great pride in her work and the life she built through it. Cheryl approached both her professional and personal life with determination and resilience, qualities that were especially evident as a breast cancer survivor.

Outside of work, Cheryl had a special love for dogs and the companionship they brought into her life. She had a practical and thoughtful nature, known by many as someone who could find a coupon or a deal for just about anything. She valued simplicity, was resourceful, and found happiness in the little things.

Cheryl graduated from Madison High School and Lakeland College. She lived a life marked by strength, independence, and a genuine appreciation for good company, good food, and the everyday moments that make life meaningful.

Surviving are her loyal 4 legged furry "son" Raven. her stepfather, David Lally of Conway; four sisters, Tina Jones of Augusta, GA, Rhonda Neely (Scott) of Chardon, OH, Kathi Adamic (Tony) of Chardon, OH, and Mary Lynne Guenter (Robert Bible) of Oatmeal, TX; ten nieces and nephews, Alexander Figueroa (Katherine), Victoria Rentz (Joshua), Anthony Adamic (Rachel), Rebecca Petro (Jared), Ragen Neely (Chris McKnight), Audrey Adamic, Camden Adamic, Amanda Parent (Bert), Chris Kendrick, and Nick Stewart; her loyal companion, Raven; and many great nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family.
