Carole Ingersoll Obituary

Carole Jean Ingersoll of Indian Land, SC, 90, passed away peacefully on May 15, 2025. Born in Highland Park, Michigan, she was the daughter to the late Stephen Douglas Tandy and Edith Alberta Rawson. Carole enjoyed shopping, word puzzles, Starbucks, and casino slot machines. She also really enjoyed spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, Carole was also preceded in death by her husband, Bob and her grandson, Chris. She is survived by her children; Donise Wolfrom (Tom) of Canton, MI, Lori Wolf (Mike) of Indian Land, SC, Patty Dunklee (John) of Conway, SC, Sandy Gains (Dwayne) of Conway, SC, Barbara Petriches (Joe) of Redford, MI, and Rob Ingersoll (Keli) of Waxhaw, NC. She also leaves behind 17 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Ovarian Cancer-teal butterfly- https://www.tealbutterfly.org/ingersoll-(see donation button below) The family would like to offer a special thanks to the Neuro ICU staff at Grand Strand Medical Center for the love and care given to Carole and her family. A private family Celebration of Life Service will be held on June 29, 2025, in South Carolina. Cremation Services Direct (843-651-1194) is serving the family.
