Carl Hasara Obituary

Carl Cyril Hasara, 74, of Myrtle Beach, SC, passed away on Saturday, June 14, 2025 at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center. He was born January 15, 1951, in Schuylkill, PA, son of the late Cyril Hasara and Jean Kluchinsky Hasara. Survivors include his loving wife of forty two years, Karen Hasara of Myrtle Beach, SC; son, Eric Hasara and wife, Donna; grandchildren, Ariel and Kyle Hasara; great grandson, Archer; sister, Carol Massaro and her husband, James; brother, Robert Hasara and his wife, Debbie; adoring fur babies, Deliliah, Puddin and Reed; as well as special uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; a large loving extended family and many supportive friends and neighbors. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by grandparents, Wilbert and Joan Kerns, Gary Kerns, Steven Rusnock, Richard Rusnock, Donald Hasara, Sylvia Hasara; many treasured family members. Carl was a member of the ASPCA. He was a musician and when he wasn't writing or playing music, he enjoyed fishing, hunting and being a dog daddy. Carl will leave behind a legacy of love and laughter shared. A funeral service in honor of Carl will be held 11:00am Saturday, June 21, 2025 at Burroughs Funeral Home, 3558 Old Kings Hwy, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time from 10-11am at the funeral home. The family has requested that memorial donations in Carl's name be made to the Grand Strand Humane Society, as he had a special place in his heart for animals. The family would like to give a special thanks to all of the friends who have supported our musical endeavors. Also to everyone who has loved Carl and enriched our lives with their time and love.
