Byron Grainger Obituary

Byron J. Grainger, 61 of Loris, South Carolina, passed away on Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at McLeod in Loris. He was born on March 27, 1964, in Durham, NC, son of the late, William Grainger and Sylvia Higgs Grainger. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by brothers, Bill Grainger, Stacey Grainger, and Maxie Grainger. Survivors include his loving wife, Michelle Grainger of Loris; one son, Ryan Grainger and his wife, Alicia of Conway, SC; grandchildren, Ava Skye and August Claire; sister, Dove Roy and her husband, Steve of Bladenboro, NC; as well as several extended family members. Byron enjoyed racing cars, building motors, and tending to his chickens. Above all he loved spending quality time with his family. A celebration of Byron's life will be held at 12:30pm Saturday, August 9, 2025, at Burroughs Funeral Home, 3558 Old Kings Hwy, Murrells Inlet, SC 29576. The family will receive friends from 11:00am until the time of the service at the funeral home.
