Bruce Kligman Obituary

I feel truly honored to have known Bruce. He was an inspiration to many, always generous with his wisdom and advice. His legacy as a remarkable entrepreneur and businessman will be long remembered. My heartfelt condolences go out to his family and friends during this difficult time.

Bruce was a wonderful man, full of warmth and kindness. His love for Diane and their life together touched everyone around them. We´re here for you, holding you close in our hearts.

It has taken me a couple days to really grasp the fact that your gone Bruce, truly a Myrtle Beach legend! I´m sad for your wonderful wife Diane, your sons Zach and Louis, your brother Rick and countless families that had the pleasure of meeting you and enjoying your antics around the stores. Absolutely brilliant business man and entertainer.
Rest in peace my friend, you will never be forgotten..

I've known Bruce ever since I was a child. He and Rick have been my friends for over 40 years. I'll never forget all of the memories they have provided me over the years of coming on vacation to Myrtle Beach. Even though I live in Ohio, Myrtle Beach feels like a 2nd home to me and consider Bruce and Rick family. Bruce will be missed!

Mr. Kligman was an amazing person. He had the ability to make countless smiles with his jokes but he was also a pillar of wisdom. Love to the Kligman family.

Still taken aback by this terrible news .. I will always remember you as a passionate, dedicated man, with a perfect balance between family and business - a devoted family man whose pride for his family shone in everything you did and achieved ... a true entrepreneur of your trade , I thank you for all the kindness you shown to my mother and me , you certainly left an impression on everyone blessed to know you. I will miss your stories deeply . You lived a life with a purpose which I´m sure will carry on through your family, the business you built , and the many lives you touched. May your legacy live on !

I am just so sorry for your loss! My son and I stopped into see the new store on Monday August 11th as we were in town from Maryland. We talked with Bruce for almost an hour, said he was from Bethesda and then he gave me business advice and we just talked while it was storming outside. I am truly upset as he has been a staple in the community for long as I can remember. Again, I am so sorry for your loss!

So so sad to here this. ALWAYS went to the store at Broadway at the Beach to see him, he was a hoot. Saw he had opened a new store so was able to see him in June when we were there & talk with him.
