Betsy Leeth Obituary
Betsy Ann Leeth, formerly of Westerville, OH, Portland, OR, and Louisville, KY, age 74, passed away Saturday July 5, 2025, at her home in Murrells Inlet, South Carolina.
Betsy was born July 15, 1950, in Louisville Kentucky, to the late James Leroy Oates and Nannie Sue (Wilkey) Oates.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving Husband David Leeth of Murrells Inlet, SC, son Evan Collier of Portland, OR, stepson Craig Leeth of Tampa, FL, stepdaughter Kristy Leeth of Tampa, FL, sister Missy Oates of Louisville, KY, Granddaughters Payton Green of Murrells Inlet, SC, Mela Leeth of Tampa, FL, Olivia Sobon of Tampa, FL, grandsons Tim Green of Louisville, KY, Robert Green of Louisville, KY, Wyatt Green of Louisville, KY, great granddaughter Leila Rose Patao-Green of Murrells Inlet, SC, great grandson Bear Green of Louisville, KY, mother in-law Charlotte Leeth of Sandusky, OH, and sister in-law Joyce Leeth of Sandusky, OH, and her best friend Suzie Jeffries of Coryoon, IN.
Along with her parents Betsy was preceded in death by a son Jody Green, daughter Jennifer Green, and her brother Billy Joe Oates.
Betsy enjoyed spending time with her husband Dave, knitting, watching cooking shows, baking, always winning at Scrabble, playing with her great grandchildren.
The family is not planning a service but wants to acknowledge that Betsy was a simple person who would want you to enjoy a drink in her honor, have a good laugh and remember the good times shared.
