Barbara Pellicci Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Barbara Foxworth Pellicci on Saturday morning, November 1, 2025, at Sprenger Heath Care of Port Royal, South Carolina. She was 91. Barbara was born in Marion County, SC, to Henry Gary and Annie Mae Rowell Foxworth. She was the widow of Anthony Thomas Pellicci. A Graveside Service for family will be held on Thursday, November 6, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at New Life Cemetery in Marion, SC. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date at Sprenger Health Care in Port Royal, SC. In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution can be made to the Alzheimer's Association or to a charity of one's choice. Barbara was a lyric soprano. She had a radio program while in high school and gave many concerts over the years. After moving to Hilton Head, she founded and was chairman for 21 years of the Salt and Light Retreat, where women of every age, race and religious affiliation were welcomed for a week-end of fellowship and teaching. She dedicated her life to Christ and was an inspiration to all who knew her. Barbara was predeceased by her husband and stepson, Joseph Pellicci. She is survived by two daughters, Cynthia May (Jim) of Beaufort, SC and Robin Moore (Arthur) of Marion, SC; son, Bryan Orr of Greeneville, TN; stepson, Marty Pellicci (Allison) of Hilton Head, SC; stepdaughter, Laurie McManus (Ed) of Rock Spring, GA; daughter-in-law, Anita Pellicci of Columbia, SC; sister, Joyce Williams of Greenwood, SC; cousins, Norman Foxworth and Jennie Williams of Marion who were like siblings; 6 grandchildren; 6 step grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; 4 step grandchildren; and many beloved cousins.
