Angela Renee Lewis-Livingston, affectionately known as "Renee," peacefully transitioned from this life on Thursday, August 7, 2025. She was born on July 28, 1966, to the late Walker and Ruth Mae Lewis.

A proud 1984 graduate of Myrtle Beach High School, Renee wore the title of "Seahawk" with joy. She was a devoted member of Sandy Grove Missionary Baptist Church, where she faithfully served as choir director, choir member, kitchen committee member, and on the transportation ministry until her health began to decline.

Renee possessed a rare kind of strength-honest, unfiltered, and deeply caring. She never hesitated to hold others accountable, but always did so with love. Her presence left an indelible mark on everyone she encountered.

In her free time, Renee enjoyed spending time with her family, traveling, cooking, skating, dancing, and playing BINGO.

Renee leaves to cherish her memories to three children: Rashod (fiancée Carnisha), Ruthdasia, and Rodrick Livingston, all of Myrtle Beach, SC; three grandsons: Kalup, Kayden, and Karter Livingston, all of Myrtle Beach, SC; one sister, Dishell Lewis; two brothers, Parrish Lewis and Victor (Allison) Lewis, all of Myrtle Beach, SC; three aunts: Diane Davis of Myrtle Beach, SC, Jobie (Curtis) Bell of Capital Heights, MD, and Helen Collins of Myrtle Beach, SC; one great-aunt, Janie Collins of Popular, SC; one bonus sister, Monya Sherman of Myrtle Beach, SC; three bonus sons: Kelvin Hunter of Charlotte, NC, Forest Vereen of Myrtle Beach, SC, and Tyquan McFadden of Charlotte, NC; a special niece, Danielle Lewis of Myrtle Beach, SC; and two goddaughters, Zoe Doby and KyEma Simmons of Myrtle Beach, SC.

She also leaves to treasure her memory lifelong friends: Sarah Chestnut, Millicent Chestnut-Greene, Jan Grissett, Van Gause-Washington, Jimelle Glover Gile, and Rev. J.R. Matthews; her special love and companion of nearly 10 years, Raymond Edwards of Georgetown, SC; along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

Renee developed a special bond with Dr. Stephen Myer of Grand Strand Primary Care, who provided exceptional and compassionate care to her at all hours during her illness.

Her life was a testament to love, strength, and unwavering faith. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
