Bill was a proud and loving man. He never ever got in a hurry and I found myself waiting a lot for him to talk to strangers as if he had known them for years..We traveled for eight yrs after finding ourselves alone in our twilight years and we had an awesome time on what could have been many lonely sad years and I will always be Grateful! Thanks Bill Silvers for being a GOOD MAN and loved by all that were blessed to know you

Rest In Peace brother. Smooth winds and following seas.
I served will Bill on the USS Yellowstone in Charleston 1972-74. We kept in touch thorough the years. I met him for lunch in July 2017 while traveling through SC. It was a wonderful reunion with lots of laughs and shared memories. Bill was lots of fun to be around. He was a good man, husband and father. A master carpenter and machinist. There was nothing he couldn“t do.
Blessing and condolences to his family and friends.
Thanks for the memories Bill.
