Wendy Bakken Obituary

Wendy Sue Lynn Bakken was born in Waco, Texas, and moved to Massachusetts as a child. She later made her home in Summerville, South Carolina, where she spent the remainder of her life surrounded by the people she loved most. She is survived by her life partner, her children, her beloved grandchildren, and several other family members. She was predeceased by her parents, a son, and a few siblings. Her greatest joy in life came from being a grandmother. Nothing brought her more happiness than spending time with her grandchildren, creating cherished memories during holidays, summers, and everyday moments. She also loved shopping, reading, camping on the beach, celebrating Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas, and enjoying the warmth of summer days. Wendy had a passion for loud music, good company, and a good drink to share with those she loved. Wendy's laughter, spirit, and love will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her memory will live on in the hearts of her family, especially her grandchildren, who were the light of her life.
