Wanda Mizell Obituary

Wanda D. Mizell, 68, of Cottageville, passed away peacefully on Sunday afternoon, June 8, 2025, in the comfort of her home with her loved ones. Wanda remained gracious and kind, a reflection of her strength and spirit that she carried to the very end. She loved her family more than anything in this world. Wanda is survived by her husband of 50 years, Carl (Billy) W. Mizell Jr. (Cottageville) and her children, Michael D. Mizell (Maria)(Walterboro) Curtis W. Mizell (Cottageville) and Pamela D. Newman (Ryan) (Cottageville); She is also survived by her grandchildren Austin and Toby Mizell (Walterboro) Collin L. Newman (Cottageville) for which she had a special spot in her heart for them. Wanda is survived by her brothers, Roger Davis (Hephzibah,GA) Michael Davis (Cottageville, SC) and her sister Ann Wadford (St. Stephen,SC). Memorial Services will be Saturday afternoon, June 21, 2025 at 1 o'clock in Parks Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Plantation Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12 noon until the time of service in the Chapel.
