Thomas Roche Obituary
Survivors in addition to his wife Robin of 43 years are: two children: Thomas A. Roche, III (Michele) of Buford, GA and Jim Roche (Kristen) of Merrick, NY; four grandchildren: Camryn Roche, Jason Roche, Morgan Roche, and Cooper Roche; and his beloved dog, Gabby. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Maryellin Roche.
Tom was born on October 10, 1941 in Trenton, NJ, son of the late Thomas A. and Marie Roche. He graduated from Trenton State College in 1980. He joined the Trenton Police Department in 1967 for a 25 year career as a patrolmen, K-9 handler, and sergeant. After retirement he and his family moved to Summerville, SC. Tom then began a 2nd career as a Real Estate Agent. He was a great husband, father, grandfather, cop, basketball and baseball coach, and one of the biggest Philadelphia sports fans of all time.
Family and friends are invited to attend his visitation on Thursday, September 30, 2021 from 7 o'clock to 9 o'clock at James A. Dyal Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 1, 2021, at 10 o'clock James A. Dyal Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Dorchester Memory Gardens, 11000 Dorchester Rd., Summerville, SC 29485.
Flowers will be accepted.
