Karen......please, know that our thoughts & heartfelt prayers are constantly abiding, during this difficult time. What a blessing knowing His peace & promises comfort & sustain us even in our darkest hours. May your hope in Christ renew your "joy" with each passing day of the reminder that your redemption is nearer still, & what day it will be when we all see Jesus & those who've gone before us. BECAUSE HE FIRST LOVED US......Carla, Scott, Megan & Steven.......Isaiah 46:4
"Even to your old age and gray hairs I am he, I am he who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you."................Romans 8:38........
"For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord."

Although my version of Microsoft Outlook would not let me simply right-click and save this very good photo from my Contacts, I did find a way to programmatically extract the photo. Steve had the brains to be a great coder.

Steve was a Christian, a believer in the finished work of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. All who knew him knew this! He is with the souls of just men made perfect in the presence of our Lord.

I loved Steve and he was a really good friend to me. I cherished the times that we shared together during the 10 years that I knew him, and I will miss him terribly all the days of my life.

I served with Steve at OFBC. Great servant, humble man and good friend. Reminded me of Ron in many ways. Prayers of comfort and healing for his family.

Shocking and sudden. I am sad for the loss of Steve. I will miss my brother-in-law for his intelligence and wit. More importantly, my heart breaks for Karen after the unexpected loss of her brother. The two had a growing friendship that is, for now, disrupted. I am so sad for your loss.

Steve was also an avid reader, dog lover, sailor and golfer who liked to play Scrabble, cards and pool. A man who almost never missed a day of work. We were married for 18 years and had kept in touch through social media. He will be missed by a long list of friends and coworkers.
