Sara Stasiukaitis Obituary

Sara Elizabeth Henry Stasiukaitis, 82, of Summerville, SC, wife of Joseph Stasiukaitis, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 8, 2022.

A Memorial Service was held on Thursday, May 12, 2022 at 1 o'clock at Bethany United Methodist Church. Visitation was from 12 o'clock noon until the time of the service in the main sanctuary of Bethany United Methodist Church. Private burial will be at a later date. Sara was born on July 31, 1939 in Sandersville, GA, a daughter of the late Robert F. Henry and E. Elizabeth Seagraves. During her lifetime she enjoyed reading books and spending time at the library which then turned into her lifetime career of being a librarian at local elementary schools. Sara also enjoyed traveling, playing Bridge, watching sports, and drinking an ice-cold Jamocha Shake.

In addition to her husband, Joseph Stasiukaitis of Summerville, SC, Sara leaves behind her daughters, Sara Elizabeth Yoder (Bryan) of Clemson, SC, Anna Ellis (Jim) of Summerville, SC, Lola Norman (Larry) of Summerville, SC, Katherine Hensley of Summerville, SC; sons, Robert Stasiukaitis (Brenda) of Summerville, SC, Paul Stasiukaitis (Crystal) of Summerville, SC; along with her 11 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her parents, Robert F. Henry and E. Elizabeth Seagraves; brother, Robert Henry Jr., and great-granddaughter, Anele E. Stasiukaitis.
