Raymond Hall Obituary

With great sadness, we announce the passing of Raymond Hall, who died on September 9, 2025, at the age of 55. Raymond was born on May 30,1970 in Barbados, due to his father being in the service, but was later raised in Summerville, SC. Raymond Hall was a well accomplished auto diesel mechanic, as well as a welder, engineer, and truck driver. Ray's main goal in life was to provide for his family and was successful in doing so. Ray was also well known for his sense of humor and pulling pranks on family, friends, and co-workers. Even an occasional stranger fell victim to "You dropped your pocket" or "Your shoes are untied" which would at first be met with confusion, but then erupting into laughter. Raymond was a proud and faithful member of the Masons, Goose Creek, Lodge no. 401, as well as York Rite, Scottish Rite, and Sojourners. Being a Mason was very important to him as were his Mason Brethren. Raymond is survived by his wife, Sandi Cahoon Hall, daughters Whitney (Joshua) Keegan, Amber Hall, Payton Cahoon, and Meredith Hall, stepson Patrick (Stefanie) Dangerfield and stepdaughter Kirstin Dangerfield, 16 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, brother George Hall, sisters Ginger (Danny) Reagin and Dawn (Scott) Sudduth. Raymond is predeceased by his father Raymond S. Hall, stepmother Jessie Hall, and first wife Rachael L. Hall. Everyone is welcome to join us for a service on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at Parks Funeral Home starting at 1pm. Let's come together to remember and celebrate Raymond Hall. Instead of sending flowers, the family would appreciate donations made to The Association for Frontotemporal Dementia. Special thanks to our Gentiva Hospice care team. You all became a big part of our family throughout our journey caring for Ray. Your care, support, and guidance will always be remembered.
