I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing. 2 Timothy 4:7–8 (KJV) The Management and Staff of THE SERENITY MORTUARY - SUMMERVILLE CHAPEL, Alongside the McClellan family, we announce the passing of Mr. Paul M. McClellan, the beloved husband of Mrs. Loretta D. McClellan; devoted father of Kimberly Doyle, Nicole McClellan-Smalls (Marcus), and Paul "Matthew" McClellan; cherished grandfather to Kamari, Gabbi, Kennedy, Micah, and Ayden. He was the twin brother of Mrs. Paulette Cryer (Eugene) and the dear brother of Geneva McClellan. Mr. McClellan was also a treasured brother-in-law to Benjamin Doyle (Jeraldine), Mozelle Hutchinson, Liberia Johnson (William), Rev. Satchell Doyle (Betty), Nathaniel Doyle (Denise), Lutrelle Thompson (Mark), William Doyle (Toni), and Rev. Charlene Williams. He will be fondly remembered as an uncle, relative, and friend to many who loved him dearly. ***Services honoring the life of Mr. Paul McClellan are under the direction of THE SERENITY MORTUARY - SUMMERVILLE CHAPEL, we are honored to serve his family, and we ask that you please keep them in your thoughts and prayers. *** The family will receive loved ones beginning Friday, August 15, in the Jenkins Terrace Community of North Charleston, at the cherished childhood home where Paul's journey first began. Friends and family are welcome to visit daily from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., to share memories, offer comfort, and celebrate a life well-lived. In honor of Paul's final resting place at Beaufort National Cemetery, and in recognition that flowers cannot be placed at veterans' gravesides, the family graciously welcomes monetary gifts in lieu of flowers. Your kindness will be a lasting tribute to the man who served, loved, and gave so much. To send flowers to the family or plant a tree in memory of Mr. Paul M.
