Pamela DeGarady Obituary

In Memory of Pamela Dawn (Bass) DeGarady January 28, 1948 – August 23, 2025 Pamela Dawn (Bass) DeGarady, 77, of Summerville, South Carolina, passed away peacefully on August 23, 2025. Born in Indianapolis, Indiana, Pamela attended Southport High School and raised her family in both Columbus, Indiana and the Charleston, South Carolina area. She loved the warm, coastal climate and embraced the Lowcountry lifestyle. She is survived by three children: Chris DeGarady, and twins Kyle and Colette DeGarady; four grandchildren: Abigail DeGarady, Sophie DeGarady, Eve Johnson, and Dane Johnson; her sister Jan Bass Kegley, and her half-brother Chris Bass. Pamela will be remembered for her vibrant spirit, love of tennis and pickleball, joy in dancing, and her passion for great food (and the occasional Little Debbie). She enjoyed hosting birthday parties for her kids where she'd make her famous Coca-Cola cake. During her health journey, Pamela's wish was to remain in the comfort of her home. This wish was made possible through the support of many, especially the compassionate team at the Summerville Meals on Wheels Program. Her family extends heartfelt gratitude for their care and dedication. A private memorial service will be held by the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Pamela's memory to the Summerville Meals on Wheels Program: https://mowsummerville.charityproud.org/Donate
