Miriam Bunch Tumbleston, 82, wife of the late Billy D. Tumbleston entered into eternal rest on Sunday, January 9, 2022 at Ashely Gardens Memory Care Center.
Miriam, who everyone called Granny, was a life-long member of Boone Hill UMC in Summerville where leading the youth and the United Methodist Women and singing in the choir were just a few of the leadership positions she held. She was an avid fan of the Atlanta Braves and Georgia Tech. She also loved Nascar, especially Richard Petty.
In addition to her beloved husband, she was preceded in death by her parents Leonard and Lizzie Mae Bunch, her brother Leonard Bunch Jr, and her Son-in-law Wayne Wheeler. She is survived by her daughters Donna (David) Badgley, Debra Jo Tumbleston all of Summerville, her granddaughters Melissa Wheeler Black (Chuck) of Hollywood, SC and Rev. Paige Wheeler of McBee, SC and too many beloved nieces, nephews, and friends to list.
Services will be held on Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at 11 o'clock at Boone Hill UMC with the burial to follow at the church cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Boone Hill UMC 801 Boone Hill Road Summerville SC 29483, Victory Junction Camp www.victoryjunction.org
