Mark Dirks Obituary

Mark Dewayne Dirks November 2nd 1956 - October 24th 2025 Psalm 34:18 "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit" It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved father, Mark Dewayne Dirks who left us October 24th 2025 at the age of 68. Born to Elwood Dirks and Ann Heatley Dirks on November 2nd 1956 in Moncks Corner S.C. In 1976 he met the love of his life, his beloved wife Robin. Together they built a wonderful life and family. Mark was a devoted husband to our beloved mother Robin, and a loving father to his children Nancy, Stacey, and Mark Jr. He was proud grandfather, brother, and friend to many. His kindness, wisdom, and gentle humor touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. Our beloved father is survived by his daughter Nancy Orvin and her husband David of Pinopolis, his son Mark Dirks Jr and his wife Angel of Moncks Corner, his brother Mike Dirks of Moncks Corner, eight grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife Robin Dirks and his precious daughter Stacey Ann Dirks, brother Earl Dirks, father Elwood Dirks and mother Ann Dirks. While our hearts are broken with extreme sadness we know he is with his wife, daughter and his family. The family will hold a private ceremony. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to your local animal shelter.
