Maria Desnoyers Obituary

Maria Santos Desnoyers, 50, passed away on October 25, 2025, in Fort Worth, Texas.

Born on May 3, 1975, Maria devoted her life to nurturing her family both in the United States and in El Salvador. A proud homemaker and a faithful member of the Catholic Church, she brought warmth and joy into every space she touched.

Maria is lovingly remembered by her companion, Eleazar, age 57; her daughter Cristabel Angelina, age 12; and her sons Kevin Francis, age 25, and John David, age 20. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jose Martin Barrera and Maria Fidelina Orellana.

Maria found immense joy in the simple pleasures of life. She cherished traveling with her husband and family, took great pride in decorating her home-especially during Christmas-and cultivated a deep love for gardening. Her fascination with nature and entomology was reflected in the vibrant garden she tended with care.

Her joyful spirit radiated through her devotion to what she affectionately called the "F words": Family, Friends, Flowers, Food, and Fun. Whether spending time with loved ones or tending to her plants, Maria's presence was a source of light and love for all who knew her.

A viewing will be held at Mount Olivet Chapel at Greenwood Cemetery in Fort Worth to honor Maria's life and legacy.

Maria's journey was one marked by compassion, unwavering faith in God, and a deep love for those around her. Her passing leaves a profound void in the hearts of many. May her memory bring comfort to all who had the privilege of knowing her.
