Lloyd Clayton Obituary

In Loving Memory of Lloyd Dean Clayton, Jr. Lloyd Dean Clayton, Jr., beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on August 8, 2025. He was predeceased by his daughter, Michele Singletary, his mother, Etta Mae Rowell, his father, Lonnie Rowell, and his sister, Deborah Jean Grove. Lloyd is survived by his devoted wife of 56 years, Ellen Clayton; his daughter Christine Canivan (Greg); grandchildren, William Singletary, Ryan Singletary (Hailey), Owen Canivan, and Rose Canivan, great-granddaughter, Harper Singletary, as well as siblings, Wanda Hilton(Carl), Sally Rowell, Marcus Rowell(Jaime), Hendrix Rowell(Betty), and Melinda Van Sickle (Mark). He loved golfing, fishing, tinkering, partying, and is known for his annual New Year's Super Bowl Parties. Thanks to the mercy of God, Lloyd is now free of suffering, reunited in heart and soul with those who went before him. He left a legacy, passed to him from his own parents, of hard work and love of family. We will miss him dearly.
