Joyce McQueen Obituary

Miss McQueen was born June 26, 1964 in Bermuda, a daughter of William B. "Bill" McQueen, Jr. and the late Barbara Adams McQueen. She was a member of David's Grove Baptist Church. Joyce enjoyed talking on the phone, riding her 3-wheeled bicycle, watching soap operas, and shopping. She had a special bond with her beloved dog, "Tinkerbell."
In addition to her mother, Miss McQueen was also preceded in death by her grandparents, Bradley & Mary Lee Adams, and William B. & Hettie McQueen.
Survivors include her father, Bill McQueen, Jr. of the home; sisters, Laurie (Rev. John) Gulliksen of Hahira, GA, and Susan (Henry) Heatley of Cross, SC; nephew, Stephen (Victoria) Heatley; nieces, Lauren (Kenny) Brady, Kelsey (Jeremy) Mathis, Maggie Heatley, and Katie Heatley; great nephew, Colton Brady; uncles & aunts, Donnie & Margaret Adams, Joe & Pat Adams, and Brenda Grimm; in addition to numerous cousins and friends.
The family would like to express their heartfelt appreciation to caregivers, Mary McCoy, Stacey Gooden, Mary Sellers, and Dawna Rushing; the staff and administration of McLeod Health - Cheraw; and the staff and administration of McLeod Hospice for the extraordinary care and love shown to Joyce and their family.
