Joseph Connelly Obituary

Joseph "Jay" Connelly was born on March 25, 1972, to Norma & Vernon Connelly, whopreceded him in death. Jay enjoyed playing softball as well as coaching his daughters' teams. He loved live music, grilling with his Miller Lite & watching college football. He was a huge Clemson fan who had to have his purple shirt & would not shave all season because he thought Clemson would lose if he did. This was actually a proven fact when he was in the ICU after his heart attack. Jay was preceded in death by his sister in law, Abby & brother Mike "Stumpy" Connelly. He is survived by his wife, Missy, and would have celebrated 29 years of marriage in September. He is also survived by his children, Kalayn, Kendall & Griffin, along with wonderful nieces and nephews. His memorial service will be at 1:30 on Friday, August 29th, at First Harleyville Methodist Church in Harleyville at 135 E Main St, Harleyville, SC 29448.
