I had the distinct pleasure of serving with Bill at the Fleet and Mine Warfare Training Center in Charleston. He and I traveled to Newport RI to teach a two-week course. He was great to work with and easy to supervise. When we visited your home, it was great to see how proud he was of your blind dog as he knew his way around the yard. I will always smile when I hear his name

Dear June, family and friends of Bill,
On behalf of the United States Submarine Veterans, we offer our sincere condolences at Bill´s passing. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers.
