Jarrett Pooser Obituary

Jarrett William Pooser, 54, of Summerville, SC, passed away Saturday, August 28, 2021 at his residence. Graveside Memorial Services will be Thursday afternoon, September 9, 2021 in Carolina Memorial Gardens at 2 o'clock. The family received friends Sunday afternoon, September 5, 2021from 2 o'clock to 4 o'clock at Parks Funeral Home. Flowers will be accepted. Jarrett was born July 21, 1967 in Charleston, SC, a son of William LeRoy Pooser and Judy Mae Dawkins Pooser. He was a Port Inspector at the Wando Terminal for SC Ports Authority, and loved working on cars, going fishing, and watching Nascar. Jarrett especially enjoyed spending time with his family and catching up with old friends. Jarrett leaves behind his mother, Judy Dawkins Pooser of North Charleston, SC; nephew, Brandon Pooser of Corryton, TN; niece, Juanita Pooser of Mt. Pleasant, SC; great-nieces, Amelia Fischler and Gabriela Faith Rivera-Herrera, both of Mt. Pleasant, SC, and Peyton-Lee Pooser of Corryton, TN; great-nephew, Brandon Pooser, Jr. of Corryton, TN; sister-in-law, Linda Pooser of Corryton, TN; Nephew-in-law, Fabian Rivera-Herrera of Mt. Pleasant, SC; and niece-in-law, Destiny Parker of Corryton, TN. In addition to his father, William LeRoy Pooser, Jarrett is predeceased by his brother, Jody Pooser; and a niece, Alicia Pooser.
