With broken hearts and endless love, we announce the passing of our beloved son, Jackson Tally Guerrero, age 18, of Summerville, South Carolina who passed away on Monday, June 9th, 2025, surrounded by family.
Jack graduated from Summerville High School, where he excelled academically. He was a multi-sport athlete-playing football, soccer, and volleyball, wrestling and running track. His commitment, teamwork, and quiet determination left a lasting impression on everyone who shared the field or track with him.
He had recently begun studying pre-nursing at Trident Technical College, preparing for a future built on compassion and service. Jack had a natural gift for caring for others, he wanted to ease pain, offer comfort, and make a difference.
Outside of school and sports, Jack had a deep love for jazz music. It was part of who he was: thoughtful, expressive, and soulful. He also had a dream of one day traveling to Japan, drawn to its culture, beauty, and traditions.
One of his greatest joys was spending time with his girlfriend, Isabele "Iggy" Crowley. Together, they shared laughter, dreams, and the kind of love that brought light to his life.
Jack is forever loved and remembered by his parents, Richard and Jessica Guerrero; his brother, Nicholas Guerrero; his grandmothers, Guadalupe Guerrero and Carol McLemore; his uncles, Balder Guerrero and Charles Guerrero (Jill); his aunt, Rebecca Turner (Ray); his cousins, Franklin, Thomas, and Atticus, extended family and friends.
Though his time with us was far too short, Jack lived fully-with love, passion, and purpose. His presence was a gift, and his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to MUSC Children's Fund, https://musckids.org/help/contact; Dorchester Paws, https://dorchesterpaws.org/; or Charleston Animal Society, https://charlestonanimalsociety.org/
