David Ross Obituary

In Loving Memory of David Allen Ross, Sr. September 29, 1955 – August 25, 2025 David Allen Ross, Sr., 69, of Summerville, passed away on August 25, 2025. Remembered for his strength and unwavering devotion, David touched many lives with his kindness and authenticity. In these last seasons of life, David was blessed with the companionship of Marica Taylor, whose care and presence brought him great comfort as she stood faithfully by his side. David was the cherished father of Kimberly Ross-Miller (Anthony Thomas), Lisa Ross, David Ross, Jr., Crystal Nichole Shaffer (Austin Powell), Francis Wiles, and Racket McGuire (Autumn); and loving brother of James Ross (Linda), Anna Sissler, and Wendy Callicoat-Carson. David was also the proud grandfather of Keith and Kendra Ross (Karson, Korrin), the late Jeremiah Ross (Roselynn, Remiah, Roman), RusSeana and Matthew Baker (Anneliese, Noelle, Micah, Ezekiel), the late Marcus Ross, Michael and Allison Miller (Virginia, Michael, James), Nakkya Ross (Jason, Matteo, and unborn child), Aleigha Ross and Jake Fugate (Jasper and unborn child), Drake Ross, Caleb, Tyler, Zachary, Kaila, Brooklyn McGuire, and Arian, Gabriel, Navarah, and Theo Powell. A memorial service will be held on Monday, September 1, 2025, at 5:00 PM at New Covenant Church of God, 304 S. Pine Street, Summerville, SC 29483.
