David Cadwell Obituary

David Vance Cadwell, 56, passed away peacefully at his home in Summerville, SC on September 28th, 2025. Dave was born on Nov 19, 1968 in Houston, TX and grew up in Summerville, SC, graduated from Summerville High School in 1987, and from The Citadel in 1991 with a BS degree in Business Administration. He worked as a project manager and director with various companies and locations that led him back to Summerville to raise his sons.Dave had a deep love of baseball from an early age and followed that through his adult years. He was very involved with youth baseball with his sons and their baseball teams. The support that he both gave and received from these teams and parents was extraordinary and greatly appreciated. He is survived by his sons Shepard Tate Cadwell and Harmon Blake Cadwell of Summerville, SC; sister Jill Anne Cadwell Bradley of Mooresville, NC, mother Julia Lee Davis Cadwell of Brownsville, TX and many extended family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife, Amy Hampton Knight Cadwell and father, Donald David Cadwell. The family wishes to thank all of Dave's friends for their prayers and support of both him and the boys.
