I am so sorry to hear of Dan's passing, Sorry I didn't respond to your note, I just couldn't believe it. I will miss his cherry facebook postings - especially the softball memories from the articles saved by Bill. Although I have some of them, I saved Dan's postings as well. I am so sorry for your loss and ours as well. Memories go back to the 50's

Dan was a neighbor of ours in Ann Arbor when our children were small and later when we moved, he became our mailman. Dan was always SO involved with neighbors and their children. Summer evenings after dinner always consisted of street roller hockey which the dads and the kids loved. One summer Dan decided we should have a block party and he organized it all. This tradition continued for several years and after we moved, we would make sure to go back for the block party every summer. Dan was a wonderful neighbor and a good friend. Bill and I were shocked and saddened to hear about his passing. His family and friends are in our thoughts and prayers.

Kelley, I want to send my upmost sympathy for the passing of Dan. He was a handyman extraordinaire! He helped me get my house in shape to sell, and when I moved he worked with me to get my present home livable! I always wanted to work along side of him (I'm a hands on homeowner), and he made me laugh every step of the way! I am going to be lost without him! I could always trust him to do a good job at a fair price. I will be lost without him! I can only imagine what you're going through. If I can be of help to you in any way, please let me know. I pray for peace for you, and may God bless you during this time of sorrow.
