Betty Hugel Obituary
Betty A. Hugel age 89, nee Gorski, beloved wife of the late Jacob Hugel, dearest mother of Kenneth (Claire) Hugel, and Richard Hugel. Born in Chicago, Betty was a 64 year resident of Niles, and a member of the St. Paul of the Cross choir, and also an accomplished pianist. Visitation will be held on Monday from 9:00 AM until the time of the service at 11:00 AM. Interment St. Adalbert Cemetery. Funeral info 847-966-7302 or www.skajafuneralhomes.com

I am so sorry for your loss! I just saw this now. I was thinking of Betty the other day, watching a performance on youtube of Detroit Symphony doing Carmina Burana. We sang together in the Park Ridge Civic Orchestra Volunteer Chorus. Betty said we were singing partners in our Alto section. Betty always sent me a Christmas card every year, even years I didn’t get mine out! What a lovely lady and my cohort years ago. We missed our times in that Chorus and performing on the Pickwick stage. I will treasure my memories of kind and fun Betty!

Betty and I became fast friends when we started singing in the St. Paul of the Cross Choir back the late 1990's. So sorry for your loss.
