William Henderson Obituary
Wellford, SC
William Copher Henderson, 90, of Wellford, passed away on August 03, 2025. Born in Tucapau on October 14, 1934, to the late Howard Austin Henderson and Lillie Belle Cox Henderson. He was the husband of the late Omazelle Brown Henderson. Bill was an Air Force Veteran and retired as a Chief Master Seargent. He was employed at Duncan Correctional until 1980 and was a Warden for Spartanburg County for four years. He was a member of Tucapau Lodge # 253 since 1960, a Past Master, a Hejaz Shriner since 1975, three-time President of Mid-City Shrine Club, and served as Secretary and Treasurer. Bill enjoyed Auto Body work.
Bill is survived by a son, Tim Henderson Sr; and a daughter, Angie Davis; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by two sisters, Shirley Booker and Madilyn Korsange.
Funeral services will be held at 3PM on Saturday, August 09, 2025 at Stribling Funeral Home Chapel.
The family will receive friends from 2PM until 3PM prior to the service. Interment will be held at Little Mountain Baptist Church cemetery with military honors.
The family is at the home of the daughter, Angie Davis, in Campobello
