Warren Douglas Buckhiester, 75, loving husband of Bobbie Ann Buckhiester, passed away on Monday, October 6, 2025.
Born and raised in
Greenville, SC, he was a son of the late John T. and Ida Richey Buckhiester.
Warren's heart belonged to his high school sweetheart, Bobbie Ann Buckhiester. This December, they would have celebrated 55 remarkable years of marriage, filled with love, laughter, and countless shared adventures to the cabin in the mountains, trips to North Myrtle Beach; and many visits to the "North Pole" due to the love of watching Christmas movies year-round on Hallmark.
A proud veteran of the Army, Warren embodied the values of service and dedication, which he carried into his professional life as a talented salesman in the heating and air industry. Known for his warm smile and welcoming spirit, he made a lasting impact on those he worked with and served.
A connoisseur of fast cars, Warren's passion for life was infectious. He embraced every moment, nurturing deep connections with family and friends, and his generous spirit will be deeply missed by all who had the fortune of knowing him.
Warren's life was one marked by dedication, hard work, and profound faith as a faithful servant of the Lord. He was a member of Siloam Baptist Church where he ran the sound system for over twenty five years.
His legacy of love will continue on in the hearts of devoted wife, Bobbie Ann: their two sons, Kevin Buckhiester and wife, Kourtney and Jason Buckhiester and wife, Jamie; two precious grandchildren, Savanna and Kale; brother, Bobby Buckhiester and wife, Libby; sister-in-law, Shirley Patterson and husband, Mike; and brother-in-law, Rick Owings, and wife Robin.
A visitation will be held on Friday, October 10, 2025, from 12:30 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. at Siloam Baptist Church with the memorial service with Military Honors to follow at 2:00 p.m. in the sanctuary.
