I knew Vastie, we grew up in the neighborhood. I used to take piano lessons from her sister Theresa as a child. My mom and Vastie's mom were friends. We all grew up in the Glenn Rd neighborhood. Lifting Up Prayers For Comfort And Strength For Her Family And Friends Lisa Rosemond, Stanley Rosemond, Victor Rosemond And Larry And Michael Rosemond. Our Condolences

I knew Vastie from the J.L. Mann marching, pep, and concert band. She was always a sweet person in my interactions with her, with a good sense of humor and fun. She always practiced and played her parts well in performances, and I never knew her to say anything unkind about or to anyone. I am sorry she left us so early in life. And I'm sorry for her family's loss. Prayers and blessings to her family.
