Tommy Fowler Obituary

Douglas Thomas "Tommy" Fowler, Jr., 64, of Mauldin, South Carolina, went home to be with Jesus on July 6, 2025.
A native of Greer, South Carolina, son of Jewell A. Fowler of Greer and the late Douglas Thomas Fowler, he was a member of Southside Baptist Church. Tommy was a devoted and loving son, husband, father, grandparent, and friend. He enjoyed spending time with his family, along with supporting the Clemson Tigers. His friends remember the fun trips camping, spending time at the lake, boating, skiing, and sharing the many stories of their daring adventures. Tommy never met a stranger and enjoyed helping and being with people. Tommy, a longtime loyal engineer of Duke Energy, enjoyed and remained faithful to his job and was privileged to work with many teams across South Carolina.
Surviving in addition to his mother are his wife, Cynthia Rebecca Boyd Fowler of the home; daughters, Brianna Fowler and Brittney Fowler of Mauldin; sons, Kyle Fowler (Sarah) of Greer and Brandon Fowler of Mauldin, and Dustin Miller; grandchildren, Bennett Fowler, Norah Fowler, Preston Fowler, Sohl Miller, and Rylin Miller, who he loved and enjoyed time with; brothers, Gene Fowler (Jane) of Greer, Dean Fowler (Tammy)of Blue Ridge, and Randy Fowler (Katie) of Greer.
Tommy was predeceased by his grandparents, Thomas G. and Doris E. Fowler, Leroy Burgess, and Elizabeth Campbell.
A funeral service to celebrate his life will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 11, 2025, at The Wood Mortuary conducted by Rev. Odell Moseley. Burial will follow in Wood Memorial Park.
Visitation will be held 12:30-1:45 p.m. Friday, July 11, 2025, at The Wood Mortuary.
The family will be at the home of his mother, Jewel Fowler.
