Thomas Bryant Obituary

Thomas Norman Bryant WOODRUFF- Thomas Norman Bryant,75, of 365 East Hayne Street passed away Sunday, August 31, 2025, at Pelham Medical Center. He was born December 1, 1949, in Burnsville, North Carolina to the late Willie Thomas Bryant and Pearl Robinson Bryant. He was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church and served his country in the U.S. Army for 21 years. Mr. Bryant served three tours in Vietnam and also served during Desert Storm. He was awarded numerous military awards during his service and retired in 1999. After his retirement from the military he was a diesel mechanic at Waggoner/United Road for 15 years. Surviving is his loving wife of 52 years, Pat Wooten Bryant of the home; two daughters, Charity Bryant Snow of the home and Terri Bryant Graham (Walt) of the home; four sisters, Rita Solesby (James) of Troutman, N.C., Sheila Plott of Spartanburg, Sylvia Staton of Hendersonville, N.C., and Patty Carson of Lexington, N.C.; three brothers, R. Glen Bryant (Kay) of Mars Hill, N.C., Larry Bryant (Kathy) of Burnsville, N.C., and Tony Bryant (Jennifer) of Ettawa, N.C.; grandson, James McCraw; granddaughter, Karame McGraw Campbell (James); two great-grandchildren, Willow Campbell and Gage Campbell. He is also survived by his two grand dogs, Zander and Nova. He was predeceased by a brother, James Bryant and a brother-in-law, Doug Staton. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday, September 5, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Lanford-Gwinn Mortuary Chapel by Mr. Jacob Bryant.
