Terry Medford Obituary

William Terry Medford, 75, passed away October 2, 2025, surrounded by his loving family at home. A native of Spartanburg County, South Carolina, son of the late William Arthur and Dorothy Ellis Medford, he was a U.S. Marine Corps Veteran during the Vietnam Era, retired after a long career in wholesale fabric sales, and was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. Terry was an amazing loving husband, father, son, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Surviving are his wife of 46 years, Sheila Moody Medford of the home; his children, Cindy Medford Price (David) of Laurens, South Carolina, Michael Craig Fowler (Mary Beth) of Easley, South Carolina, Kimberly Medford Bollinger (Matt) of Jacksonville, Florida, and Brook Medford Barbare (Shannon) of Greer, South Carolina; eight grandchildren, Julie Ann Mason (Cayce), Elizabeth Price Schachner (Jeffrey), Jordan Adrianna Fowler, Matthew Steven Mason (Timbre), Delaney Rae Fowler, Dylan William-Ray Barbare (Tory), Michael Chane Fowler, and Emily Grace Barbare; and five great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a sister, Sandra Lynn Medford Wilson. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 6, 2025, at The Wood Mortuary Chapel conducted by Rev. Alan Bagwell and Rev. Steve Durham. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memory Gardens. Pallbearers will be Matthew Mason, Dylan Barbare, Tommy Alexander, Noah Alexander, Steve Campbell, and Brandon Mason. Honorary escort will be Dean Wilson. Visitation will be held 9:30-10:45 a.m. Monday, October 6, 2025, at The Wood Mortuary. The family is at the home.
