Taylor Graham Obituary

Lieutenant Taylor Anderson Graham, born on December 11, 1971, in Spartanburg, South Carolina, dedicated his life to service and family until his passing on March 14, 2026, at the age of 54.

Taylor was a beloved firefighter with the City of Greer for over 22 years, where he served his community with unwavering courage and commitment. Over his 35 year career in the fire service, he also served at numerous other fire departments, EMS, Greenville County ERT and taught many years at the Fire Academy. His legacy is marked not only by his valor in the line of duty but also by his profound love for music as part of local band, Haphazard. Taylor was a member of First Baptist Simpsonville/ Upstate Church.

Left to cherish his memory are his devoted wife, Angela Slate-Graham, and their three children, Amber, Tyler (James Misczak), and Mason, and a step daughter, Christian (Austin Hopkins) who are proud to carry on his spirit of kindness and strength. He was also a loving grandfather to Memphis-James Miszcak and Amelia Graham, who brought him immense joy. Additionally, he leaves behind his brother, Phillip Graham (Wendy).

Upon his death, he was reunited with his parents, Phillip and Margaret Baldwin Graham.

Though Taylor faced a courageous battle with cancer in recent years, he maintained his strength and grace, inspiring all around him. As we remember the laughter, love, and music he brought into our lives, we celebrate a life devoted to service, passion, and family-a life that will continue to inspire many.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 19, 2026 at Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Southeast from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. The service to celebrate Taylor's life will be held on Friday, March 20th at 11:00 a.m. at First Baptist Simpsonville/ Upstate Church.

The family encourages donations to local fire departments or cancer research organizations in Taylor's memory, honoring his commitment to serve others. Taylor's kindness, laughter, and unwavering spirit will forever live on in our hearts.
