Susie Jackson Obituary

Susie Mae Jackson was born, on November 26, 1934, to the late Viola Maybin Watson and the late Edward Bud Watson in Spartanburg, South Carolina. She received her education in the Spartanburg County school system. Susie Mae was a quiet and gentle soul who found joy in life's simple pleasures. She had a special gift in the kitchen and was especially known for her delicious macaroni and cheese and green beans. She also had a green thumb, tending to her plants with care and creating beauty wherever she lived. In her leisure time, she enjoyed sewing and was an avid fan of soap operas, with The Young and the Restless being her favorite. Her favorite color was blue, a reflection of her calm and peaceful spirit. She was a former member of Holland Temple FBH Church, where she faithfully served on the pastor's aide board and Mother's Board, supporting the ministry she loved. She was preceded in death, along with her parents, by siblings, James Watson, Robert Watson, Charles Watson, and Vere Watson. Left to honor her life and legacy are; husband of 75 years CD Jackson of the home; children, Elizabeth Miller of Inman, SC, Gloria Frazier of Campobello, SC, Lee (Peggy) Jackson of Evanston, IL, Reverend Angel Jackson of Campobello, SC, and Vicki (Randy) Black of Landrum, SC; siblings, Samuel (Janice) Watson of Ft.
