Susan Wright Obituary

Susan Marie Wright, 58, beloved wife of David Wright, passed away Friday, August 1, 2025. Born in Cape Canaveral, FL, she was the daughter of Barbara Romanzo. Mrs. Wright was a member of St. Paul's Anglican Church. Throughout her life, Susan demonstrated a deep commitment to her faith by serving others. Susan dedicated many years teaching and mentoring. This including a transformative year spent teaching in Japan, where she brought her warmth and compassion to her students. She held the position of Children's/Youth Minister at two of the family's churches and was the Assistant Head of School at St. John's Episcopal School in Abilene Texas. Her servant's heart inspired those around her, and her passion for helping people extended into her successful career as a real estate agent, where she tirelessly worked to find families their perfect homes. Susan is survived by her husband, David Wright; son, Alex Wright; daughter, Laura Schatz (Austin); brother-in-law, Douglas Wright; and niece, Sophia Wright. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, August 10, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at St. Paul's Anglican Church, 304 E. Camperdown Way, Greenville, SC 29601.
