Susan McCue Obituary

Susan Gayle McCue, 76, of Greenville, passed away on Monday, April 7, 2025.
Born and raised in Greenville, South Carolina, Susie was the beloved daughter of the late Augustus and Wilma Weathers McCue.
She was known by all for her gentle spirit, kind heart, and warm smile. Susie never met a stranger; her ability to connect with others and share love unconditionally left a lasting impact on everyone she encountered.
She had a deep love for animals, especially dogs, and was a source of comfort and joy to both people and pets alike.
A precious mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Susie cherished her family and those close to her. Her presence brought light into every room, and her absence leaves a space that can never be filled.
She is survived by her daughter, Angela Michelle Moore (Ricky); son, Mark Anthony Smith; three grandchildren; six great grandchildren; siblings, Naomi Waters, Janice McCue, Ken McCue, Faith George, and Marsha Hatfield; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Linda Hunter; and brother, Bill McCue.
A visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. on Sunday April 13, 2025, at Thomas McAfee Funeral Homes, Northwest, with the funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Northwest Chapel.
