Sheila Palmer Obituary

With hearts full of love and gratitude, we celebrate the life of Sheila Palmer, who was born on April 25, 1961, in New York City, and peacefully gained her heavenly wings on June 1, 2025, in Spartanburg, South Carolina.
Sheila's life was a testimony of faith, compassion, and unwavering dedication to serving others. A proud alumna of Hunter College in New York, she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Psychology. Her passion for helping people led her to a fulfilling career in social work, where she served communities in New York for over a decade and continued her mission of care and advocacy in South Carolina for an additional twelve years.
Sheila was not only a professional servant of the people but also a servant of God. A licensed minister, preacher, and chaplain, she was a fervent prayer warrior whose life reflected the presence of the Holy Spirit. Her greatest joy was leading souls to Christ and sharing the message of God's love with boldness and grace. She never met a stranger and spoke of her faith with a contagious warmth and conviction that left a lasting impact on everyone she encountered.
She now rejoices in eternal rest, reunited with her beloved parents, Ernest Adams and Willie Mae Palmer; and dear brother, Mark Palmer.
Sheila leaves behind a legacy of faith, love, and wisdom that will forever live on in the hearts of her family: her devoted daughters, Dominique Palmer and Imani Lemon; cherished grandchildren, Narrel Bonner (affectionately known as "the favorite"), Terrance Dawkins II, and Nami Collins; and beloved godson, Rashan Allen.
She will also be deeply missed by her treasured friends, Carol Bridewell and Bessie Griffin, along with a host of loving uncles, cousins, and countless dear friends who were touched by her radiant spirit
Sheila Palmer was truly a woman of God, a beacon of light, and a vessel of love. Her legacy will continue to inspire all who knew her.
