Scott Sizemore Obituary

Scott Sizemore Wellford, SC Scott Samuel Sizemore, 54, passed away on August 24, 2025. Born in Greer, he was the son of Annette Sizemore and the late William "Pete" Odis Sizemore and the husband of Claudia Martin Sizemore. He was a veteran of the US Army and was Maintenance Supervisor for a number of apartment complexes, most recently at Preserves at Westview. Scott was a member of Pineview Baptist Church and was a member of Duncan Masonic Lodge #309. Survivors also include a daughter, Brooke Hembree (Mark Melton); a son, Bryan Zimmerman (Lisa); a sister, June Sizemore Vassey (Tim); six grandchildren, Makenzie Hernandez, Madeline Brewington, Christopher Melton, Nathaniel Childs, Mason Lister and Trace Lister; a niece, Samantha; a nephew, Noah; and a great-nephew, Will. He was predeceased by a brother, Samuel Sizemore. Funeral services will be held at 3PM on Tuesday, August 26, 2025 at Pineview Baptist Church with Rev. Daniel Bryant officiating. The family will receive friends from 2PM until 3PM prior to the service. Interment will be in the church cemetery with Masonic Rites. Memorials may be made to Pineview Baptist Church 1171 Brockman McClimon Road Greer SC 29651.
