Scott Riddle Obituary

Gerald Scott Riddle, 63, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 5, 2025. Born in Greenville, he was the son of Broadus Gerald Riddle and the late Geneva Valentine Riddle. Scott was a true outdoorsman and nature lover who loved to fish and hunt. He enjoyed spending time sitting on his porch soaking in the view of the lake and watching NASCAR. Scott had a big heart and would often ignore his needs over the needs of his friends and family. He was known as Grandpa Scott to three grandsons whom he loved dearly. Scott is survived by his son, Dylan Riddle with his wife, Alyssa; his father, Gerald Riddle; a sister, Susan Register with husband, Michael; and three grandsons, Zander Riddle, Christopher Royer, and Kaden Royer. A celebration of life will be held on Monday, October 13, 2025, at Cross Roads Baptist Church at 11:00 am. The family will visit with friends prior to the service beginning at 10:00 am. Flowers are welcome or memorials may be made to Cross Roads Baptist Church, 705 Anderson Ridge Road, Greer, SC 29651.
