Joanne Grampp Obituary
Joanne was born June 25, 1945, in Peoria to the late John L. and Margaret E. Hoffman. She is survived by her daughter, Carrie Walsh; her grandchildren, Gordon and Mia; and
her brother, Jim (Marsha) Hoffman.
She graduated from East Peoria Community High School as Valedictorian of her class in 1963 and graduated from Northern Illinois University with high honors in 1967. She had a long career and retired from the Illinois Department of Employment Security. She was an animal welfare advocate and always cherished her pets throughout her life.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00pm Saturday, September 20, 2025, at Fondulac Cemetery in East Peoria.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to TAPS No-Kill Animal Shelter.
