Sarah Flynn Obituary

Mary Sarah Edwards Flynn, 94, wife of the late Billy Eugene Flynn, passed away July 20, 2025. A native of Spartanburg County, she was a daughter of the late Elisha and Pearline Brown Edwards. Surviving are three daughters, Sandy Haun of Taylors, Beverly Meyer (Bob) of Greenville, and Lisa Renee Piwowarski (Tony) of Greer; three grandchildren, Casey Bradley, Melissa Scruggs (Billy), and Miranda Zeigler (Ryan); six great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Mrs. Flynn was predeceased by a brother, J.P. Edwards and a sister, Dorothy Taylor. Graveside services will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday, July 27, 2025, at Wood Memorial Park conducted by Rev. Chris Harrison. Visitation will be held 1:00-2:30 p.m. Sunday, July 27, 2025, at The Wood Mortuary. The family is at their respective homes. Memorials may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516. Online condolences may be made at www.thewoodmortuary.com.
