Rufus Fuller Obituary

Rufus Bennett Fuller, 81, widower of Mary Ann Knight Fuller, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 27, 2025. Born in Liberty, SC he was a son of the late Clarence Bennett Fuller and Pauline Richardson Fuller. Rufus affectionately known as Pa, was a giving, kind heated person. He was an avid bingo player and enjoyed fishing and NASCAR. Rufus was a big fan of Judge Judy, Atlanta Braves baseball, and the Clemson Tigers. Surviving are two sons, Ricky Fuller and Marvin Thompson; two daughters, Misty Fuller and Kristy Thompson (Tim); two grandchildren, Cody Fuller (Destiny) and Caity Marlo; three great grandchildren, Bennett, Hope, and Addie Fuller; and a sister, Annette Moore. In addition to his wife and parents, Rufus was preceded in death by five brothers, Clarence, Truman, Junior, Roger, and Ralph Fuller; and two sisters, Bonnie Warren and Sue Warren. The family would like to thank Mary and Erica with V-Care Hospice, who were like daughters to him, for taking care of him. The family will visit with friends on Monday, September 1, 2025 from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Fletcher Funeral Service. A Celebration of Life will be held at Fletcher Funeral Service on Tuesday, September 2, 2025 beginning at 11:00 am. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Rufus Fullers honor to Shriners Children's Hospital, 950 West Feris Road, Greenville, SC 29605.
