Ronnie McCarson Obituary

Ronnie Dale McCarson, 61, went to be with the Lord on Monday, June 16, 2025. Mr. McCarson was born in Greenville to the late Roger Dale McCarson and Elsie Mae Redding McCarson. He was the owner & operator of McCarson's Automotive. Ronnie was a racing enthusiast and drove his #17 race car at Greenville-Pickens Speedway for many years. He was a fan of NASCAR and his favorite driver was Dale Earnhardt. He enjoyed watching Joel Osteen Ministries and listening to gospel music sessions. Surviving are a daughter, Katie McCarson with husband Chris Woodie; two brothers, Ricky McCarson and Richard McCarson; a granddaughter, Liz Golibersuch; and a special young lady that he cherished, Bridget Holcombe. He was predeceased by a brother, Chris McCarson. A celebration of Ronnie's life will begin at 1 o'clock Saturday at Fletcher Funeral Service – Woodruff, officiated by Rev. Carey Caldwell.
