Ronald Parker Obituary

Ronald Bernard Parker, age 67, of Greenville, South Carolina passed away peacefully surrounded by wife Jan and daughter Ronni at Prisma Hospital on Saturday, December 14, 2024. Ronald fought a courageous battle with Parkinson's and seizures.

Ronald was born on December 21, 1956 in Monroe, NC. Throughout his life he had an immeasurable amount of friends. If you met Ronald you never forgot him.

Ronald was a proud lifetime member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church where he formerly served playing trumpet in the church band.

After attending Clemson University, Ronald became a successful business owner of A-1 Auto and was able to retire in 2020. He was an aviation enthusiast, private pilot, he enjoyed weightlifting, snow skiing, scuba diving, water skiing, and Clemson Football.

Ronald is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Jan, only child and apple of his eye, Ronni (Chris), and mother Freida N. Parker. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews who he loved and adored. He was preceded in death by two brothers Robbie Parker, Russell Parker, and his father Bernard Parker.

A visitation for Ronald will be held Thursday, December 19, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 7 Shannon Dr, Greenville, SC 29615, followed by a Celebration of Life at 2:00 PM officiated by Rev.
